Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)

VMI is the flagship inventory management program for SRF that means we take the ownership of managing your company’s inventory that can include parts of the other programs. The primary example of VMI with SRF is having our customer add us into their manufacturing process as an extension of their company’s inventory management department. This can look like adding SRF to a production schedule email and allowing us to determine quantity needed of part specified by Engineering that are then delivered to the assembly line where Production allows through Receiving with PO approvals overseen and issued by planners in Purchasing.

Bin Stocking Programs

Here at Store Room Fasteners Inc. we offer a variety of bin stocking management solutions to ensure that you always have the parts and equipment you need in your shop or manufacturing line.

Point of Use Stocking

Allow our SRF lean manufacturing gurus to implement a Point of Use Storage strategy for your production lines. Doing so will improve production times and reduce inventory waste caused by over ordering.

Safety Stock

Store Room Fasteners Inc. can maintain an additional inventory of safety stock to insure that during periods of supply volatility or other factors we can keep your production lines open and avoid downtime.

Just In Time (JIT)

At SRF we know every second counts our team of lean manufacturing pros are committed to the JIT philosophy of eliminated wasted time and resources and the continuous improvement of all processes, when you partner with us we bring this philosophy to the entire scope of our inventory needs.

Kanban

A Kan-ban system is a means of implementing Just In Time Production process. Using a Kan-ban card system SRF can ensure that your always have right number of parts on hand at the exact time you need them.

Scheduled Releases

Store Room Fastener Inc. offers Blanket Ordering services to all our clients, saving them both time and money. Time is saved due to the simplification of purchasing requirements and money can be saved by avoiding price volatility and taking advantage of bulk pricing discounts.
